Tasting Notes

Clean and crisp dominated by aromas of citrus and green apple. The pallet is filled with refreshing minerality, lemon pie, and nutmeg with a slightly creamy edge through the mid-palate. Try it alongside a local chevre or pan-seared scallops with garlic basil butter.

Winemaker Notes

The early part of the 2021 growing season was mild and steady. The fruit set was good, and the canopies were well developed. Harvest began with the same steady start but progressed into three serious heatwaves beginning in early September. Although the heat created challenges, the grapes remained intact and in relatively good condition. The wines produced from the 2020 vintage tend to show a depth of ripe fruit.
